Oatballs

Oatballs (Havregrynskugler in Danish), it brings back memories … and they are very easy to make. Three simple steps: melt, mix, roll. And you can make a large batch to make sure there is enough for all those hungry people. In the coming Christmas season they are a hit when the treats are laid out on the table.

OATBALLS
30 PCS.

60 G SOFTENED BUTTER
20 G COCOA POWDER
60 SUGAR
100 G ROLLED OATS
20 G DESSICATED COCONUT
50 ML MILK
1 TSP. VANILLA SUGAR
1 TSP. RUM AROMA

DESICCATED COCONUT FOR DECORATION

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz them into a mouldable mixture.

Roll the dough into balls, the size of a whole hazelnut with shell, and roll them in desiccated coconut.

Store the balls in the fridge, but take them out a little while before they are to be eaten, to let them soften up.
