Oatballs

Oatballs (Havregrynskugler in Danish), it brings back memories … and they are very easy to make. Three simple steps: mix, shape and roll, And you can make a large batch to make sure there is enough for all those hungry people. In the coming Christmas season they are a hit when the treats are laid out on the table.

OATBALLS
30 PCS.

60 G SOFTENED BUTTER
20 G COCOA POWDER
60 ICING SUGAR
150 G ROLLED OATS
50 ML MILK
1/2 TSP. VANILLA PASTE

DESICCATED COCONUT FOR DECORATION, OPTIONAL, COLOUR IT WITH FOOD COLOURING

Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix hem into a mouldable mixture.

Roll the dough into balls, the size of a whole hazelnut with shell, and roll them in desiccated coconut.

Store the balls in the fridge, but take them out a little while before they are to be eaten, to let them soften up.
