Lemon Waffles with Cream Cheese Frosting

Delicious tart waffles with creamy topping. They are quick and easy to mix together and even faster to eat.

LEMON WAFFLES WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
ABOUT 10 WAFFLES

WAFFLES:
170 G ROLLED OATS
250 SKYR
2 DL. MILK
60 G FLOUR
30 G SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA SUGAR
A PINCH OF SALT
2 EGGS
JUICE IF 1 LEMON + ZEST
2 TSP POPPY SEEDS

Mix in oatmeal, milk and skyr in a bowl.

Add flour, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt and mix well until no lumps are present in the batter.

Mix in the eggs, one at a time.

Finally add lemon juice, zest and poppy seeds.

Heat the waffle iron with Belgian plates.

Use approx. 1/2 dl batter for each waffle and bake them for 5-6 min.

CREAM CHEESEFROSTING:
170 G CREAM CHEESE
60 G ICING SUGAR
JUICENOF 1 LEMON

Mix the ingredients together to a smooth cream and serve it with the waffles.
