Oatmeal Pancakes

Delicious pancakes which just fillyour stomach a bit more than all the others. You almost believe that they are healthy, with oatmeal, fruit and “sugar-free” … right up until you pour plenty of maple syrup on top and a proper knob of butter.

OATMEAL PANCAKES
ABOUT 10 PANCAKES

70 G ROLLED OATS
235 ML BUTTERMILK
50 G FLOUR
1/4 TSP. BAKING POWDER
1/8 TSP BAKING SODA
1/4 TSP. SALT
1 M/L EGG

ACCESSORIES:
BACON, BUTTER, SYRUP, FRUIT …

Mix oatmeal and buttermilk into a porridge and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

Heat a bit of butter on a pan turned up to medium heat and add 1/4 dl batter for each pancake.

Cook the pancakes on one side until air bubbles appear on the surface.

Are there to be bacon, corn or fruit in the pancakes themselves, sprinkle them over the uncooked batter now before flipping and cooking the pancakes until they’re golden on the other side.

Serve with syrup, butter, fresh fruit and/or corn.
